EMX
Industries Inc., a manufacturer of sensors for automation, announces
the ColorMax P version color sensor, the highest resolution and fastest
RGB sensor on the market. Data Logging: In addition, the ColorMax P
version application software allows for data communication and
statistical analysis based on the standard Office Excell software.
Non-Standard Features: EMX’s new sensor comes with standard features
that are not provided standard in the industry. Unlike many other
sensors, the ColorMax has full application software with control over
the target illumination and the ability to view color without reflection.
Most color sensors have only a red and green LED, which provide little
information. Also – unlike other color sensors – the ColorMax has no
controls on the sensor so unauthorized operator cannot change the
settings and cause errors. The output is automatically configured to PNP
or NPN upon power-up, aiding in setup. The light source intensity is

Sur

transitoires de forte intensité peuvent circuler entre ces deux masses.

rapport à la masse. L’intérieur du capteur type 6353A24 est isolé
électriquement par rapport au boîtier. Le boîtier de l’amplificateur de

connection with commercially available pH or redox single rod measuring
chains and an optional Pt100 or Pt1000 resistance thermometer for
temperature compensation. The measured pH-value and/or the fitting redox
potential as well as the temperature can be passed on to PLC or
recording instrument as an industrial standard signal 0/4…20mA and/or

wax manufacturer Kerax has installed an OPTIMASS 7300 Coriolis mass
flowmeter from KROHNE to improve the accuracy of production
processes at its plant in Chorley, Lancashire. Kerax produces a variety
of different waxes to be used in making castings and as ingredients in
products such as adhesives. Each formulation requires the blending of
two or three types of wax plus a number of additives. The mechanical
meter previously positioned on the input to the blending vessel was not
able to provide the accuracy needed for Kerax’s increasingly stringent
process control. The wax flowing through the meter can vary in density
from 0.8 to 1.0 kg/litre and in viscosity from 5.5 cP to 1,200 cP. It
can be flowing at rates varying from 1.8 to 15 tonnes/hour with
pressures from 1.4 bar to more than 4.1 bar at temperatures ranging from

sont observés, par exemple pendant le démarrage, les décélérations
abruptes ou le freinage de presses. Les vibrations de torsion, telles
que celles observées dans les moteurs à combustion, les pompes et les
compresseurs, entraînent également des charges maximale non
souhaitables. Pour éviter ces surcharges, les capteurs conventionnels
doivent donc être dimensionnés et réglés par rapport à la valeur crête.
Mais la résolution du signal est alors souvent insuffisante pour les
couples de fonctionnement effectifs, largement inférieurs, ce qui
